Charlie KraussKPostCompany added a Lightweight Decking Division to their facility in 2007. Charlie Krauss joined the KPost Company family as Lightweight Decking Manager.

Charlie has over 30 years of experience in the commerical roofing business, specifically in lightweight concrete decking (LWIC). His project portfolio includes Baylor Medical Center of Plano, Texas Heart Hospital, Dallas Convention Center and Tyson Foods to name a few. His experience and vast amount of knowledge have earned him a top-notch reputation in the commercial roofing industry and much respect from his colleagues.

After graduating from the University of North Texas, he
began his career in the roofing industry with his father-in-law. He was born and raised in New Jersey, is married to Linda, has two sons and two grandchildren. Charlie’s hobbies include muscle cars, playing the drums and spending time with his family.

Decking — Lightweight Insulating Concrete (LWIC)

Lightweight Insulating Concrete (LWIC) is the newest addition to KPOSTCOMPANY's extensive list of quality commercial roofing services. June 2009 marks its two-year anniversary!

KPOSTCOMPANY currently has four complete lightweight decking setups ready to go with experienced lightweight concrete crews. We are an approved applicator for Siplast NVS, Zonolite and Insulcel aggregate systems, as well as cellular insulating concrete by Celcore, Cellufoam and Mearlcrete. KPOSTCOMPANY recently became an approved Tectum wood fiber deck applicator – including Tectum E, Long Span and Tectum III deck systems.

We can install lightweight decks in both new construction and reroof applications.
