Ten Years of Success: Thanksgiving Comes Early

September marks the beginning of Fall and the countdown to both the holiday season and cooler weather. For the team at KPOST, it’s also time to celebrate a decade of dedication to safety, quality, and value.

Celebrating their 10th anniversary is more than just merrymaking. It’s time to reflect, review, and give thanks for ten years of service.

”Integrity is at the heart and soul of everything we do. We figured we could create a great business environment and attract some great people. And that is exactly what happened,” said Keith Post, KPOST CEO. “After a decade of delivering service based on our foundation of safety, quality, and value, we are truly thankful to have arrived at this ten-year mark as a leader in our industry, and to have amazing clients and team members.”

Doing It Differently

Keith Post, Steve Little, Jayne Williams, and eight other adventurous employees started this company to do things differently. That includes ensuring we approach every project with a recommendation as though it was our own building, not just a job,” said Steve Little, KPOST President. “Our team is dedicated to delivering quality. We are dedicated to providing a safe environment for our workers and everyone is dedicated to delivering value to our customers.”

And the “Different” approach sure has worked. KPOST has won multiple local and national awards, as well as accolades from industry experts and their peers for safety and quality. But they don’t do it for the recognition.

“Our difference is our people. We have made an impact by serving a variety of industry needs including hospitals, high-profile construction, new construction, and multi-facility owner business. These customers need a full-service operation that provides a quick response, a long-term approach to value, and they need a contractor that is providing safe construction,” said Little.

Some of the projects KPOST has completed over the last decade include:

  • AT&T Stadium
  • Hunt Oil Building
  • Texas Health Resources Dallas
  • Mary Kay office and Manufacturing Facilities
  • Perot Museum of Nature & Science
  • Four Seasons Resort and Club
  • Watermark Community Church
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield Headquarters
  • Omni Convention Center and Hotel
  • Dallas Presbyterian  Hospital
  • DFW Airport
  • Methodist Hospital System

The approach KPOST takes creates security for the company, the employees, and the customers. With a strong focus on safety, quality, and value, the company experienced a far faster growth rate than first anticipated, with a 25% growth from year 1 to year 2, and a 20% growth from year 2 to year 3.

“We have plenty to be thankful for, particularly the privilege of working with so many great clients and suppliers,” said Post. “Our continued success in recruiting and retaining top talent is also something we are proud of.”

Culture of Safety

“We are all about our employees and believe every employee is important and an asset to our company,” said Jayne Williams, KPOST CFO and Safety Director. “Bottom line is that we take care of our assets and do everything possible to ensure employees go home at the end of the day.”

KPOST has a strong safety record unparalleled in the industry and has received numerous awards for their safety programs including the Platinum Safety award for the past eight years and the 2007 Best Contractor in the DFW market awarded by North Texas Associate Building Contractors. This commitment to safety earns KPost the highest award for safety management given by Texas Mutual Insurance.

“The awards point out that we are a safe company and we know these are not given out willy-nilly. We think it’s important that our customers understand why safety is a priority and that it benefits them and our employees,” said Williams. ” our .52 insurance modifier rating with a $12,000,000 annual payroll is the one lowest ratings in the country.”

Community Counts

KPOST believes in giving back to our community and also taking care of our employees. These efforts afford us the opportunity to provide to those who might not be able to afford the type of quality services we can provide,” said Williams. “Whether it’s an employee needing a little extra help at the holidays or a non-profit with more construction-type needs, KPOST is proud to lend a hand.”

KPOST Company has partnered with organizations such as Anita N. Martinez Ballet Foundation (ANMBR), Beautiful Feet Ministries, Regional Hispanic Contractors Association (RHCA), National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), and National Roofing Partners (NRP) to give back to give back to their community.

KPOST has participated in multiple community projects including training and supervising the interns of humanitarian organization “Beautiful Feet” as they restored the roof of their building, originally built in 1928. Also, in 2012, KPOST helped a family in need by working on a replacement roof for a home under threat of being condemned.

“We are pleased to be celebrating 10 years in business. However, we are very aware none of our success would be possible without the opportunity to serve our clients with integrity,” said Post. “And that would not be possible without the KPOST team delivering safety, quality, and value every day.”
